it has a good amount of weight so it definitely do it's job
This is very handy to carry around. Even if these are tiny, it has a good amount of weight so it definitely do it's job. Only minor draw back is i ordered blue, but instead i got the apple green. No big deal tho.

Handy Little Timesavers
These are good quality little weights that I use to cut out sewing patterns with my rotary cutter without having to pin. Saves a bit of time. They're also good for holding slippery fabric or knits so the fabric doesn't slide off the cutting area.

I am so glad I bought these pattern weights, they make my fabric/paper cutting simply and precise. They leave no holes in whatever you are cutting and they are heavy enough to really anchor the fabric and paper down while I cut out patterns.

These work very well. I had never used pattern weights before I took a sewing class which I needed them for. I was so surprise at how well they work. That after over 60 years of sewing!! I now use them all the time. I guess an old bird can learn new tricks.

I love these things!
Fabric lays flatter for cutting with weights rather than pins. I use them to help hold big pieces of fabric when I’m using a big ruler with a rotary cutter, and I also use them with dressmaker shears when cutting clothing patterns. There are four weights in a set, so it helps to have an additional set when I’m going to cut out clothing. I still needed to pin when I cut out a fleece bathrobe, because the fleece is just too thick and slippery for those weights.

Great product, but...
...for a LOT less money, I went to the hardware store and bought large flat metal washers. I got ten of them for just a few bucks, and they're perfect for holding paper patterns in place! Then I decided to make fancy pattern weights, so I went back to the hardware store and bought a dozen big nuts. I placed each nut in the center of a four inch circle of fabric, and pulled the fabric edges up over the nut and pushed them down into the center of the nut. I pushed in a small button to secure the fabric in the nut, and voila! A dozen super cute pattern weights for less than five bucks! I'm sure the Dritz product works fine, but unless you've got money to burn, head to Lowes or Home Depot.

These are sturdy and heavy.
I like the varied colors I received. They aren't lightweight so they will hold all kinds of fabrics. They were sew together nicely and they are very sturdy. I love them. They were 6 bucks cheaper than JoAnne's which was 17.99 a pack.

Use them instead of pins when cutting out a pattern with rotary cutters. On larger patterns probably could use more than 4 .
